walk in the beautiful countryside: "Bergisches Land"	For many years we have been connoiseurs and happy owners of Cavalier-King-Charles-Spaniels. They share our daily life as devoted and pampered companions. In 1984 we got our first Cavalier-Lady "Alin von der Steinbreche". She was a lovely tricolour girl and we were glad to share our life with her and her blenheim companion "Sira vom Altenberger Land" for 14 years as our pets. We decided to breed these beautiful dogs in 1996.
We don't kennel our dogs; they live with us in our house and play in our garden, and as family members they always go on holiday with us. We'd like to invite you to visit us and see their comfortable surroundings for yourselves!	"Siesta" with Hartmut

In our breeding programme, we are especially concerned about the following:

Physical Well-Being

The health and beauty of the pups is monitored through careful selection of parents:
we choose long living and healthy lines with enough different ancestors (Outcross-matings)
and all dogs who are actually in our breed have a clear heart and are checked for Mitral Valve Disease (MVD),
they fulfil the health rules of our Kennel Club, the "Internationaler Club für Cavalier King Charles Spaniel e.V. ICC".
Our Cavaliers and especially the puppies are regularly presented to our Vet, who also takes care of our litters.
All puppies get a health certification of our Kennel Club and an international vaccicination card.

Friendly and trusting Temperament

As we only have a few Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, they are exceptionally
well-socialized and accustomed to being with children and other pets.
In our view, TLC is an important part of the equation!

Ongoing Care

Even after one of our puppies has come to a new family, we like
to stay in touch, if possible for the lifetime of the dog.
We gladly offer advise in nutrition, grooming and immunization whenever you need it.
